What is India General Election
India is a country with largest democracy in the world which covers 28 states and 8 union territories with over 140 crore population . People in India belong to different religions , caste , race , etc. So to handle this amount of population our country neads a party amongst all candidate parties to make suitable law and orders for the people which are elected by the people . It is also called as “LOK SABHA ELECTIONS”.
These India General election takes place in every 5 years now to elect 543 members /seats for Lok Sabha from different parties and the party having majority members / seats becomes the leading party and the leading party chose the appropriate person for the major positions like Finance Minister , Prime Minister, Home Minister ,etc. Also known as Cabinet Ministers and the Prime Minister is the head of cabinet.
The person who is chosen by the party for the seat of prime minister is the face of the party during the elections .He/ She is chosen by the people to serve for people of county as a leader of a country
